Rooted in Long Island. Built on Experience. Focused on Results.
Rooted in Long Island
TerraVida is owned and operated by Conner Taphouse, a Long Island native who has spent most of his life working outdoors and caring for properties across the island. Conner began working in the field at just 14 years old, learning the business hands-on alongside his father. What started as helping out after school quickly turned into a long-term commitment to doing the work the right way — learning how lawns, landscapes, and irrigation systems respond over time, not just season to season.
Growing up on Long Island means understanding the soil conditions, weather patterns, and challenges that come with maintaining properties here. That local experience is the foundation TerraVida is built on, and it shows in the way every property is approached.
A Commitment to Quality, All Year Long
TerraVida is committed to delivering the best service and the best results, season after season. That commitment doesn’t stop when one job is done — it continues through proactive scheduling, reliable follow-through, and an honest approach to recommendations.
Clients choose TerraVida because they value consistency, clear communication, and work that’s done correctly. Whether it’s maintaining a healthy lawn, keeping irrigation systems running efficiently, or making sure a property looks just as good at night and during the holidays, TerraVida is focused on long-term relationships and results you can see.
This isn’t just a service — it’s a responsibility we take seriously.
Built on Experience, Not Shortcuts
TerraVida was created with a simple goal: provide dependable outdoor care that delivers real results throughout the entire year — not just quick improvements that fade. Every service is based on consistency, timing, and attention to detail. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach and no rushed work.
From fertilization and turf health to irrigation, lighting, and seasonal services, the focus is always on what the property actually needs. That means making adjustments when conditions change, communicating clearly with clients, and treating each home as if it were our own. The goal isn’t just to show up — it’s to improve the property steadily and responsibly over time.
